American Charities has responded to a request from Care & Share and Homeward Pikes Peak to feed the recently relocated residents who were not housed under a roof.  We’re honored to help and are thankful to those who have stepped up to support the added fuel, space and general monetary needs that accompany our forever expanding response to fill the needs in our community.  We rely 100% on local residents and businesses for support.

Special Thanks to Greg owner of “McCabes Tavern” for collecting donations all month long. With his help and his clients, we have been able to help over 50 struggling families in July.
A kind gesture from a local community organization.
Big thanks to High Plains Church and their congregation for collecting $603.00 last Sunday to help us continue our mission.

American Charities is now feeding an average of 3,000 individuals a month from our Colorado Springs office. We would like to thank you for helping us reach this milestone.

We are rapidly becoming the largest serving food pantry in the area. We would like to thank the Whole foods stores in Colorado Springs and others who have helped us shore up our food supply. We now have enough food coming in to serve the large number of people in need in our area, however the cost of our Facilities, Fuel, and utilities can only be met with dollars.

American Charities is experiencing a budget shortfall this month that could jeopardize our ability to continue our program. We need your help now more than ever before!

Because we operate on a small fraction of the industry average and do not take salaries it will not take much to solve this problem.

Remember we do not apply for government grants. We rely on local business and the community at large to support our cause. We are counting on your generosity to see us through this time and allow us to continue to serve the thousands in need here in Colorado who do not qualify for other programs.

If everyone believes that everyone else will help in the end no one will.
All types of credit cards and bank accounts are accepted. Your contribution will affect the life of a neighbor in need today!

    Thank you for your support!
