American Charities is now the largest food pantry in Colorado Springs and the largest distributor of free clothes in Denver.

 Big thanks to Walgreen for collecting over 1,000 lbs of non-perishable food through their annual food drive in Colorado Springs 26 locations.

 Huge thanks to both Whole foods locations in Colorado Springs for collecting so far over 7,000 lbs of non-perishable food through the holiday season.

*American Charities has never turned anyone away that was in need of food or clothing; however the growing need in our community is leaving us with a substantial budget shortfall for the coming months.

We need your help for the upcoming months! A $10 donation will feed a neighbor in need for 3 days. You can make a difference.

Computer Recycling Program

 

We are now accepting the following Items:

  • Computer Towers (any type or age is acceptable)
  • Laptops of any kind
  • Flat Screen Monitors
  • Keyboards
  • Mice
  • Any wiring or Cables
  • Software (any type or age is acceptable)
  • Computer Accessories / Parts of any kind

 We cannot Accept Any CRT Monitors

 We will schedule a pickup of 2 computers or more within the city limits

Individual donations can be dropped off between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday

JUST CALL US AT EITHER LOCATION & WE WILL SCHEDULE A TIME AND DATE FOR LARGER PICK UPS.

Monday (Commodities day)                                         11am to 5pm

Tuesday through Friday ( Emergency Food & Clothes)        9am to 11am   &  3pm to 5pm

Denver Location:

Hours will be from 11 am to 6pm every Wed. & Thurs.
